Ranch, city & Cotswolds, Dec 2025
A monthly round up of all things happening at this establishment, because the months keep galloping past me like a herd of wild mustangs.
Merle Haggard famously sang that ‘‘if we can make it through December, everything’s gonna be alright’’ and as I’m writing it on January 2nd, I’m happy to report that me and my little biz made it through them miles in the rain, early calls in the dark and frozen feet at the brutal Portobello pavement. End of the year called and, as a true cowboy, I picked up, loaded my volkswagon and accepted the challenge of finishing strong. And little did I know I would be closing 2025 in a splendid location, in top company, surrounded by the crowds of hats, stomping my boots to some of the best country band this side of the pond.
low winter sun <3
My car did not have it easy this month…
Willie spotted in Soho!
Exploring Cotswolds, this tweed mill in Chipping Norton is now turned into apartments, but I had a chance to have a little peek
There are winter outfits and there are winter outfits for when you need to be out and about for 12h in the cold, starting 5 am. And if I can pull a good fit for when I am flaneuring the city, I can’t do the latter, so I spent my days freezing my country ass in boots that were not made for standing in the cold. There were so many moments I wish I was trading traditional Norwegian clothes or shoes made of seal fur instead of cute, but so absolutely not practical this time of year Tony Lama boots! But if y’all think I learned my lesson and will be prepared better for the remaining winter months - lose your hopes. I’m not even lying to myself no more.
You know how you talk to somebody about something and before you know it, your phone is full of suggestions on this specific topic you just discussed, right? So, not too long ago, I’ve had a conversation with a fellow trader about who’s our ideal customer. And guess what happened? My ideal customer(s) crystalised and appeared at my stall not long after! I know you shouldn’t pick a favourite kid etc, but I’m not gonna lie, the more obsessed you are with my wares, with the style I’m brining to our streets, the more it gives the meaning to what I do and motivates me to work my ass off, like I did this past month. So please, be wild when you come by, try on absolutely everything you fancy, make a mess out of my rails, and let’s all have some fun, whether you decide to buy my shit or not. Extra scores (and maybe a lil discount) if you’re wearing a cool ass outfit (and my eternal love for your Elvis tat <3) .
From the stall…
… to the gig! Alan Powers & The Take Twos looking sick in VCS!
This customer turned my mid century Mexican runner into a scarf, how inspiring!
this pair of 70s ACME denim boots sold in an instant, before I even had a chance to properly document it. I must find another one!
I finished the month with one of the coolest jobs I’ve had since starting this biz - at the finest gathering of cowboys & cowgirls in Daylesford, Cotswolds. I’ve been invited to bring a selection of barn party-ready pieces, so I packed my wagon once more, (this time to its limits, Volkswagen is such a goat, y’all!) and hit the road. The venue was spectacular and so was the hospitality of Daylesford. It’s been such a pleasure to join the party, set up my pieces in this beautiful (and warm) space, and have a little dance, while Alan and the boys played one country banger after another. I’m sending thanks to the Daylesford team once more and I tip my hat to my business partner for a day.
blurry midnight cowboys (we literally took this picture at midnight sharp!)
And I honestly thought that was my last job of the month and the year. <inserts clown emojis> Y’all. I’m not a workaholic, but if I see the only sunny day within the next 2 weeks, I will drop everything, charge my camera batteries (in the meantime charge myself somehow, too), pour a ginger tea into the biggest thermos I own and I will call it a workday. As I’ve been planning a Southwestern shoot AND had a model/photographer at home (perks of inviting talented friends for Christmas, hehe), that blue sky was a sign from heavens I couldn’t be blind to not see! Below is a sample and some bts from that Christmas Day shoot <more clown emojis>, the collection drops January 10th. But if you need a mental relocation and want to tune into this vibe, here’s a playlist to get your mind off to them dusty roads, somewhere south of Amarillo.
A collection of pieces made in Southwest & Mexico drops Jan 10
And that’s a wrap! I’m taking some time off beginning of Jan and will be back in full swing soon. My best wishes to you & yours for 2026. Thanks for hanging around! <3
Boxing day with the fam, turns out I can kick in boots!
A few quiet days at home
